Dad is very misunderstood about Son.

Dad was watching tv and time was 1am.
Son: Dad, so late already still not going to sleep ar?
Dad: uuhh...(gave some reply that son did not quite catch)

Next day...

Dad: Son yesterday asked me why i never go sleep, he confirm must be waiting to watch soccer on tv...
Mum and Sis: ... ... ...

In the afternoon...
Sis relates morning's happenings to Son.
Son: HUH!?!? No loh... i was asking out of concern because he needs to work today...

That day in the car...
Son: Sis... so did you get the slipper you want?
Sis: No... because could not find one that i like...
Mum: We saw one that is 300 plus dollars...
Son: aiya... those must be branded kind la...

Later on in the day...
Dad: eh... is it that son wants to buy slippers?? buy until 300 dollars one somemore!!
Mum: ... ... ...

Dear Dad, i do not know whether you are biased towards me or what, or that due to your relatively older age that you happen not to hear things properly, i hope that you do not start assuming things which i haven't done.
