Driving a forklift is like guiding a Candace trailer. Visualise. Today got time trial. Trashed the rest of the trainees upside down man. And according to my instructor, the timing i had on the 1st try is good. Yay. =) But could have been faster if not for the loose gear switch. Aiming to hit 13 minutes before the test.

It was pretty funny watching my "buddy" do today. Ok my buddy is a 2WO. He is an indian and he is quite nice and humourous. But the problem with him is... erm... he... kind of lacks... common sense...

Not that i am making fun of him or laughing or what, but it gets a little weird and curious(on my part) when he doesn't know 4 comes after 3 or 5 comes before 6. The instuctor, whom i am building a good rapport with was secretly cursing him under his breath. I would too if i am him because when it comes to the simplest steps, he couldn't remember all the correct sequence.

Now i must be humble, but it gets a little irritating as well when the 3 of us in the group know what is going on and how to move the pallets from open order to close order, and you get a 2WO who supposedly should be the most lao jiao, and he is tikam-ing his answers.

Duty Instuctor(DI): So after you put the 3rd and 4th crate, which one do you put? (points finger at me)
Me: 5th crate...
DI: Ok so after you put the 5th one then which crate do you put? (points finger at my "buddy")
Buddy: Erm... 3rd one...
Me: -pengz-

Anyway, his timing was twice of mine and i was really really trying to help him......

Me: Put the fork lower a bit~!!! Level it first~!!!
Buddy: -nods head-

(After 5 mins)
Me: Ok after you lift it up then you reverse then lower it...
(no reply)
Me: Lift higher a bit!!
(no reply)
Me: .... -mumbles- aiya you want lift higher or lower up to you la... you warrant wadz...

Oh the funny thing is that the DI always calls him "WARRANT~!!" It just gets on my funny bone la and i am sure it gets on my buddy's nerves...

Luckily got Shaun around, else i will be damn bored. So heng i ask to come for this course.

Was thinking why some people will aim to do things fast fast, why some people scared of machines, why some like not sure not sure... I am sure if GY go to the course with me, i will be competing with him for the fastest timing. He's that kind who will plan out nice nice each step and where to save time. But some people don't have the ability to think and prepare of the next step and to try to think which step can save time or whatsoever. Don't know la. Different people different capabilities.
