Stumbled upon a very good blog on Lost ... http://lost-and-gone-forever.blogspot.com/

The owner writes almost as though he is a scripwriter in the actual show because his predictions and pre-analyses of episodes are somewhat very accurate.

He put Daniel Faraday on the DeathWatch 2009 List last week and BAM ... that guy's dead in this week's episode.

Anyway i WAS gonna make a prediction to the ending of the whole series but now i guess not, cos as my guess is mostly inspired by a point the blog made ...

"The biggest question I have from this episode - and the first thing that Kate should have asked when Faraday told her and Jack about his plan is "What happens if you succeed?" Would our Survivors suddenly "skip" back to 2004, with Oceanic 815 finishing its flight as normal? Would they "skip" back to 2008, having lived different lives from 2004 to 2008 that they may or may not have memories of? Or would they "skip" back to 2008 retaining full memories of everything that happened with the Island? It's all very confusing..."

I thought it would be simple to end off back in 2004 and everyone being safe without a crash, but with memories of all that had happened ... but like what most commented, it would have been a cheap ending.

Honestly, i've got no idea how the writers are gonna end it, making everyone happy.
