This sem is coming to an end, and i guess this sem would be remembered for its projects. In a way, it was ironic to feel lonely for much of the sem considering i don't manage to see many people during my breaks or meal times and often had to eat alone. On the other hand, i managed to meet and get to know a lot more new friends this sem because of the number of projects. Well i know how most project mates may just come and go, but due to the high workload of these projects, we had to spent a lot of time together and i do sincerely get along well with most of them.
6 modules, all with their own individual projects, are finally coming to a close. 2 more weeks and 3 mods would be over. Then that 3 exams to handle and then the well-awaited 3 months break.
Last night poker's game was really action-packed! At least considering all the games we had so far. So many buy-ins and so many instances of all-ins. I guess the thrill of the game is how each and every player is different. There is no right and wrong way to playing the game and i am just glad to break even after the 5 hour game.
It was a game where i received the most 3-5s and 2-8s ever that i was folding half the game. Kelvin's aggressive stance but perpetually 2nd-best cards caused him to lose much. Huat the comeback kid continue to be the consistent and stable player after he lost his first stack to me but still managed to be one of the big winners. Fai and Kerk were the lucky boys, with good hands(and chips) going their way. Though i felt they could have been much more ruthless and could have won much more. KZhang, haha like we discussed during IPPT, was perpetually showing weakness. No ... he's weak. Haha but he was doing lesser impulsive things than me and making smarter plays thus explained his winnings. Khalif wasnt playing much either and i couldn't sense much from him either except that one time he won in a heads-up with me, somehow knowing i was bluffing. Well his friend Pete was just there for the beer and some donation i guess. =p
