Went KL last weekend, came back on Haji. Fantastic trip... holiday with Sy is always fun... and there were people whom i only know much better during my Nov trip to Melbourne so it kind of makes the trip more unique. And everything is like so much cheaper over there. Especially the DVDs and the PS games.

Some msia friends of Sy's came over and this few days we accompanied them to Chinatown for shopping, Geylang for some frog's legs porridge, MOS on Wed and Zouk last night.

Somehow, 2005 went by very quickly. For me at least. Because 2005's CNY didn't feel very long ago. I guess time passes very fast when you don't think about it. Like for all the stuff i remember clearly is CNY, then i went over to Melb in April, then again during Nov... for everything that's in between, it's mainly daily work and waiting for each week to end and probably when my understudy came and LRI and stocktake... and when Sy is back, time also somehow flies which sucks... like now's mid jan ALREADY... WTF. Because awhile back i was thinking how wonderful it would be for Christmas and new year to come... and now i have even been to KL and back!

Anyway i am getting really tired by all the questions about how come i have so many days leave and offs. It's cute when grandma starts asking whether i got tao bing(Awol) or not... but you know it's getting irritating... It seems like i have taken a lot of leave but actually it isn't a lot, because it's all concentrated during this period of time and so it seems a lot. Plus there were a lot of public holidays here and there. When people were taking leave back in july, august, september and october, i was busily working day in day out, or even if i was slacking, i was in camp. So there! And i am using my ORD leave so what's the big fuss? I can choose when i like to work and when i like to rest right? And if i so happen to want to work on the last week of May, why shouldn't i? In the end, everyone has the same number of leaves anyway.

Some Astro stuff...

The report was generated with the following birth data: male, born on 29 May 1985 at 4:00 am in Singapore, Singapore.

Your sun sign is Gemini. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your Ascendant is in Aries, and your Moon is in Virgo.

You were born with the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Virgo. Inwardly you are much more intellectual than your personality shows, and you are ambitious for intellectual self- improvement. Your internal make-up inclines you to all types of mental work. Your mind is versatile and inclined to change, but at the same time strong and positive.

You are quite easy-going and perhaps, as a result, somewhat undecided about things. Your ambitions never leave the realm of the mind or become translated into action. You are perfectly happy without material wealth.

Your pastimes are analysis, exercising critical faculties, and mental dissection. You are very likely to criticize others, but never with malicious intent.

Cleanliness and neatness are necessary to your serene existence. You like serving others and are a devoted and obliging friend.

You are very conceptual and engage in more mental than physical activity. You should open yourself to experience, think less, and try to surrender control. Your habit of analysis is essentially a defense. You feel that you are less the victim of events if you can achieve a total understanding of them.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiacal belt and its natives seem also desirous of being "first" in all activities with which they happen to be involved. The cardinality of the sign makes you extremely active and capable of displaying ambition, impulsiveness, courage, and boldness in order to satisfy your desire for prominence in the world.

Impulsive, critical, despising mean or dubious acts, you will create many excellent friendships but also important enemies. Your life is rich in passion and ardent love. In sexual matters you are quick, aggressive, and to the point. You also are a lover of pleasures, which you feel with a bright, open, and sparkling character.

In love you are passionate, and like to be the first person in the sexual life of the people to whom you give your love.

You concentrate a great deal on your appearance(hah!) and even if you are not especially beautiful or handsome, you have a quality of softness and friendliness, which endears you to many.

You like to keep beauty and grace around you as much as possible. You have a strong affinity with nature and prefer the quiet life of the country to the plastic constructions of city life.

It is likely that you grew up in an atmosphere of warmth and congeniality. Now it is easy for you to project these same feelings to family and friends, and others often count on you to restore peace in difficult situations.

You work very hard to get along with others, and you usually try to win arguments with diplomacy rather than force. You must learn to be self-assertive when necessary and to stand up for your own rights, forcefully if need be. Otherwise, people will not have much respect for you.

Relationships are important to you, and you often go out of your way to initiate them. It is vital that your associations remain harmonious, because quarrels and disputes affect you adversely.

Venus conjunct the Ascendant indicates that you have a personable manner and social charm, which win you the approval of everyone you deal with. This is exactly the sanction you seek, for above all, you want to be accepted. You find it easy to make whatever compromises are necessary to get what you desire. However, you may not succeed in convincing everyone that you are only acting the part of the conniver.

You are usually well behaved and refined, but when you can not get what you want, you become extremely aggressive and demanding.

Learn to tone down your self-seeking and spend some time developing the more substantial talents that will make you worthy of the gifts you seek.
