Today was Matriculation Day. Totally crazy. I was there since 11. Drove down only to found out the car park near SRC all taken up. I was like oh shit cos i was scared i would be late. In the end found another small car park nearby. Was damn scared the whole day i would get clamped.

Saw Rayner before i went into SRC. He's damn funny la... he wanted to apply for the season parking but i think over liao. Then after that went into SRC 1. There were like people everywhere, heng Jo-an was there and she told me where to queue. Got my student card and all the documents handed up. Then it was on to the laptop fair. The goodie bag they gave us were like of a reasonable weight at first. Then slowly all the brochures and pamplets and whatnots. In the end i got so pissed at it that i went to put it straight in the car.

Met Ariel and Sean after that. Saw Alexius and Steph after Sean bought a laptop then we went Munching Monkeys. Saw Cheryl, Eileen and Darren there. After that i went off to find Jialin, Kenneth and Manyun for their matriculation. Then it's the whole process all over again. So bloody tired.

They all bought laptops which i thought were pretty impulsive. I thought only people like me do that kind of things. Like most people who want to buy would go with their parents(and it looked like primary 1 day 1 all over again).

I signed up for climbing and sailing(cos that guy was sincere but i most probably won't go). Pretty interested in the Arts and Soci Club also.

Tmr got talks by Dean and the various heads. Then going for Rag.

Hey... not everyone wants to be famous. Not everyone craves for the spotlight. I write mine so that 5 years down the road, i can read back on what i was doing and see the photos i posted as a memory.

I've decided to go help out for Rag whenever i can. Probably next mon if they are not going down at 11 to pei wo. Then since their matriculation time is around 3... i've got a couple of hours to spend. And probably tues too after the modular talks.

I sure took long to decide. But i think it's worth the experience.

I really hope i pass my QET. That's quite duh. Everyone wants to pass QET. Passing it would mean a lot more convenience on a lot of things.

My OG for oweek is called tailwind. Night cycling this wed apparently to bond between the councillors in the house. Hope my OGL is crazy... then we can all go crazy with her...

Super tired la... But it was fun last night. Saw Alvin, Jaslyn, Ian, Eileen and Sebastian also... As usual Nic was there...

Went for supper at Geylang Lorong 17 after that... the Dim Sum is fantastic. Especially the century egg porridge...

Dota just now was good. Played a friendly match with 3 other guys and we won... definitely a good morale booster...

Going to sign up for oweek tmr... really hope everything goes well...

Selecting modules and deciding what to study, where to place my lessons so that i can have a 3 day week and all the minute details about uni stuff i driving me a little nuts.
Today i was still thinking of whether to take Geog or Econs. Well... Geog's not going to be too tough on me, at least that's what i feel now. I've always got this interest for Geog and i think i will be able to do well. If it's going to help me in my overall grade, then why not?
Well, the problem is that taking Econs will definitely be more useful. Who knows, i might need to take some Econs-related modules to boost my prospect of doing HR as a psych major.
Then like i was clearing up quite a few stuff with Alison. Thanks girl~!! But then Cheryl confused me with the Breadths and GEMs. Aren't they the same thing? Haha... and that she said if i want to take a level 2 psych module, which will be Stats 1 apparently, i should do the Stats introductory as a breadth first.

Sometimes i find myself very contradicting. Like i want to do level 2 psych in my first sem, but i am afraid i can't cope. Yet, there have been so many people who have done that before. My lack of confidence in Maths is another factor because it's going to be Stats. But then how hard can Stats be? I mean if i put in effort, i should be able to handle it right? Kind of bullshit because if i put in lots of effort, i can handle everything.
Maybe my confidence for my studies is a bit low now. I am even scared of failing QET. Like everyone's telling me my english is ok one and can make it one, but then somehow there's this fear.

And seriously, i really really want a 3 day week. I don't want to be driving to school 4 times a week. Do you know how far school is? Especially now when i've got this "save money" mentality. Hmmm... maybe after so long, i should put down the steering wheel and start taking the bus. But old "convenience" die hard la...

Anyway, yesterday we went to Terence's house. Spent the whole afternoon doing the wrong stuff... haha but actually i wasn't doing much cos i was playing winning eleven on his PS. Small "problem" occurred cos Kenneth, Jialin and Manyun want to try to take similar modules so that we can attend lessons together. Then Tzeyeong said we cannot like this cos like that then we will tend to qian jiu each other and might tend to take stuff we are less interested in. Actually it's not qian jiu... cos we are going to major in different stuff, but then as the first sem, basically every freshies will need to take exposure units and there are only so many there. Popular ones like Psy and Soci can take together mah... (but don't know why Kenneth doesn't want Psy)... and SS is confirmed must do one... and we aren't going to take Malay or Jap studies or South Asian studies so only left with SEA studies...

But well... because of the small differences like they are taking CNM and i am not, there tend to be differences in time table and because of that, if i go along with that instead of being selfish, i will be likely to end up with a 4 day week and probably 1 of the day having only a 2 hour lecture.

I think as long as have maybe 1 or 2 lessons together jiu ke yi le... like honestly i feel the friendship is nicely established already... We all have our dreams and ideas... and blah blah blah...

On a lighter note... i think don't need to join the Arts Bash pageant liao. Cos Kenneth(from my og) told me he was confirmed by one of the seniors on the night when we went Zouk. Well... the experience would be great, but seriously i don't think i am cut out for it.

QET yesterday kind of sucked. Like everyone said it sucked. Went with Jialin and Manyun. We were almost late... but luckily never la...

Section A for me was quite bad. Everything seemed right... like i couldn't find much mistakes. I think my English language has deteriorated so badly. Essay was okie but i am kind of afraid i went a bit out of point or there wasn't much substance sustaining my answer to the question.

Actually i should be happy that it's a Geography question, but well... i lack real world facts.

After that saw Peizhen while leaving the place. Then when to settle my season parking. Went for lunch at Holland V before going over to Manyun's place. Decided to watch Shutter but then i think i too long never wake up at 8am liao so i fell asleep near the end. But seriously i really don't like horror shows.

Then send Jialin back to school for her rag dance then i went Kovan find Ariel, Kenneth, Zijie and friends for dota. The 2 games we played were definitely the better fews for me.

After that met Kenneth, Tzeyeong, Alison, Manyun and Jialin at Minds Cafe at Selegie for some boardgames and drinks. Saw Evelyn there too. Were having quite some fun before some stuff happened... well... then went home after that.

Oh... apparently the Sony Ericsson K800i is out and it's like only 500 bucks with plan. Saw it on the papers today. But mum just had a talk with me about spending too much money. Now having seconds thoughts. Cos my S700i working fine currently... just that... well i want a better camera.

Last night's dota was crazy. Pretty exciting playing random heroes every time you die. Just read the tips for D2. Remember the bigass worm at the end of Act 2? Yea... i am having problem killing it. It's freaking fast and powerful but well... i guess if i need to kill it, i got to sacrifice plenty of town portals and potions.

Don't know whether i should join Oweek or not. Because it's like if i don't, then there's nothing for me to do... but then i want to join with the Tila-ians... but then i think some of them got their Halls' camps... haiz...
Maybe just join then make new friends again lor... but then they say it would somewhat be like Arts camp...

There's something about me, some kind of "guai pi". I don't quite like to go through something exactly the same again. Like for SK1 and SK2.. it was kind of alright... but at the back of my mind, i was dreading a little if i had to go through SK3... all the segments and stuff... So asking me to go through all the cheers, Sentosa, house spirits, ice breakers, secret pal and stuff altogether again is somewhat taxing. Blame it on my horoscope perhaps. I need variety.

And to think i voted for him in the online poll for the best player. Bah.

I've seen the Rooney's video and seriously, he is a player who will fight for the ball and in my most honest opinion, the "step on the groin" is purely accidental.

Been suffering from indigestion for a few days le. It got kind of bad yesterday but heng i shitted it all out before supper. But imagine this... burping ALMOST non stop for 3 days... freaking irritating. Mum said too much gastric juices due to infrequent meal times. I guess so la... with the sucky food during Arts Camp...

Anyway, went to Terence's house on Thurs for some gathering. Ended up playing Mj which was pretty draggy but funny. 3 of us were TRYING to play MJ but Meiling was trying to play Risk/Tetris/Brick Game.

Oh... Syndrome is a term which refers to someone who cannot be explained... only can be felt and experienced... and Atas basically means being high class...

But we all left Newton happy and satisfied...


I don't like the way how stall vendors "indirectly" pressure you to buy their food. The moment we stepped in there, we were "ushered" to a table and this laminated food menu was thrown right into our faces. And within a minute, the uncle was asking so what do you all want? Hmmmm i thought this previously created lots of problem at the old Newton when vendors and customers all had arguments...
We didn't quite like being pressured to buy stuff so we all got up and move away. The competition is really damn stiff over there. There were so many stalls selling the same stuff. But i like the new layout... more spacey and airy...

Maybe i wasn't in the very enthu mood when i went for Arts camp.

Maybe the feeling of not being attached to the new people i've met have set in, thus i don't feel very close to the new friends i've met during the camp.

Perhaps i was tired of missing people and getting those weird feelings so i didn't put myself entirely into it... haha...

Yesterday went for soccer... it was a great workout except my thighs are aching like mad now... but also due to wakeboarding... more on that later...
Played a deep striker, then i realised i ain't that kind of player... i prefer to create goals than to shoot... so after that i dropped back a little... Nice goals from Irfann and Prem... and a cock "Van Nisterooy" goal from me... haha...

Went wakeboarding just now... damn fun la... Went with Sy, her brother and Renee... Drove to Loyang, then took the boat to Punggol there...

Arts Camp 06... Poof Be Artsocised~!!

Damn fun camp~!!! I am still suffering from post camp symptoms... lol~ Never have i seen people so hyper and crazy before... and the cheers are fantastic... power sia... and the proportion of girls and guys made the camp even more wonderful... =p Went to soooo many places... And at least now i've got a better idea of how school is like...

Last time i was like i am soooo gonna get lost in school... but now i can get around pretty safe...
The different houses... the councillors... the bright colours... the cheers... the hilarious incidents... They will all stay in my memory... =)
This 2 were the first to strike a very deep impression in me... cos they are the CRAZIEST people you can ever find...


Anyway, i just realised i appeared 4 times out of the 10 photos that were posted on the arts camp blog... shiok~ hahaha... =ppp

The first day started off the freshies registering... i was quite stunned by the hyperness of the councillors, but i soon got into the mood la... the ra-ra-ing was good... and some of them really not scared of making a fool out of themselves... power~

I was in Tigara house, and my group is called Tila... and... WE WON THE BEST OG GROUP IN TIGARA AT THE END~!!! WOOOHOOO~!!! TILA TILA~!! TILA TILA~!! =)

Booths were also set up for various subjects seniors to answer our questions... saw Cheryl, Eileen and Sharon at the Psych booth...
My group... oh and i was in the green house~!!


There was a talk by the vice dean about the system in FASS... pretty useful... and we had lots of games and cheers... at night there was the Pasar malam and i was nicknamed the hai dai king... lol...

Then we had to use the "money" we won to "buy" materials to make our mascot...

Ta-Dah~!!


Then there was this Secret Pal thingie which guys and girls were paired up but the 2 won't know each other only until the 4th night... and they have to write "love letters" to each other everynight... pretty cool... except perhaps the damn pretty and yandao people get paired off with "lesser endowed" people and they got a bit sian... haha the harsh reality of humans...
Yup anyway there were nicks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake... basically celebrity couples... i ended up with Jay Chou and Patty Hou... =p

My first letter to Patty started off like this... "Dearest Patty... Actually i am still very much in love with Jolin..." =p

2nd Day... Project Shoot-it... We had to go to many many places to take photos of weird stuff... and there were requirements... like going to ntuc and finding ingredients for chicken rice, seafood platter and taking photos of them, and standing outside a police station and acting like robbers, or going to Ginza plaza to take a photo there...

After everything ended at night, the group went to the nearby prata place for supper...

Quite good to see most of them came...

And these are the councillors... the girl on the 2nd right is the AOGL and the guy on the right is the OGL... fantastic people.. =)

3rd Day... Off to Sentosa we GOOOOO~!!!

We had a tent set up at Padawan Beach...

And all of us were given this freshie tee... JM was damnnn funny... cos she's a councillor... then she's like damn blur(and cute)... ZY(who is another councillor) bluffed her and asked how come she wearing Freshie tee... cos for councillors they will wear the same tee but with the word "crew" behind... then she was trying to pull and grab the back to see the word on her back... =p


Then at night we had group games... it was one of the most memorable night. I guess my group bonded really well there... cos we were playing the 1 Gun Bang Ah game and there were forfeits... Heng i never kena any... (cos i good =p) haha there were lots of licking for bottle caps on nipples and stuff like that... pretty gross but definitely hilarious... hahaha...

Then after that we had a session with out Secret Pal... but we were all blind folded... so we were only allowed to talk to each other... pretty cool except lots of councillors were listening in on our conversations... blah... i mean... it's a CONFABULATION afterall right??

4th Day... War Games~!!! It was crazy le... got so freaking dirty... Flour... Tomato Ketchup... Food colouring... a girl ended up with a face 3/4 BLUE... lol... but it was HELLLLLL FUNNNN~!!!

Mox... the seniors gave a performance... and then i realised girls look so different when they are in school and out clubbing... gosh... then there were lots of drinks and dancing... the girls danced pretty good... and Kenneth was a bit gone at the end...
