I played against aggressive players too many times. And each time, i didn't like the feeling of being pushed around.

Instinctively, i've sort of developed a way to play against them. No doubt it's more boring, less action, but it's definitely more stable and winning money for me.

On every table, there's definitely loose and aggressive players. I think that suits me well.

I've found my favourite position on the table ... on the right side of an aggressive player. =)

The thing about pet fishes is this, you don't get very emotionally attached to them. And well ... it's sad to say that they are there to liven up the room and you can proudly announce them as your pets.

But when they die, you just mainly go ah well. And you just flush their bodies down the toilet bowl ... or maybe if they are still living, but barely, you pour a bit of food down the toilet bowl so that they could perhaps live a bit longer.

And my tagbox is gone. Can't be bothered to put one back now.

Went to watch Management last night, and as you all know, it's an english show starring Jennifer Aniston.

So there were these 2 guys sitting next to me. And guess what they were doing the WHOLE MOVIE???


This alpha guy was translating the ENTIRE movie to beta guy from English to Chinese. Every single line. Can't believe it.

Even lines like ... "How's the soup?" "Yeah the soup's good."

Classic.

I don't remember Sec 1-4 went past so quickly like now. We were cracking a joke that we are all h'old'nors students. Hahaa ...

And climbing those hills of NUS left us panting. Crazily old.

We had another poker session at my place this afternoon, and it was a pretty good afternoon. Good plays, good bluffs, good lay downs.

It is good to finally win at home. =)

3rd week of school starting. Tutorials. And those readings. Argggh.

I cannot express how glad i am about this semester's tutorial balloting. Because of the number of times CORS tutorial balloting has screwed up my timetable, i have practically given up hope on actually getting my preferred choices. But no, this semester seems fair, considering how unfair modules bidding was.

Anyway, mum reminded me to notify mindef about my overseas trip. Once again, the uber slow ns portal network is pissing the hell out of me. And yet again, i cannot seem to log in and i had to ask them to send the password to my email. Zzz.

Been watching the WSOP 2009 on youtube. Can't wait to play again.

I'm thinking that perhaps it's time for me to change the things I blog about. I'm bored of the blogging-about-daily-things way, and I've been thinking since I often feel something for the things I encounter, I could probably do a review/opinion/feeling post about these things, and preferably in a non bias way.

I guess it stems from recent events like how screwed up CORS was, how unprotected me as a year 4 felt, how congested the CTE-PIE link always is, how funny the hangover was, how I always feel that opening a Sweettalk in NUS is good business, how I don't see myself using another phone after having the iPhone, how wonderful a game of poker can bond people, how good or bad the ps3 game infamous is, how hard it is to play as a defender or striker in be a legend mode, the pros and cons of playing at dotapod.com, how screwed up the referee was during the community shield, and many more ...

Let's see how this goes ...

Today's the first day of school. Marketing lecture was funny ... glad to have Kenneth and Bryant with me. Szehui is in the same lecture too, and also the Arts gang Ethan Hweeguang ...

After that we went for lunch at the Deck, and ritualistically, ordered the laksa. Too long never eat already so everytime school starts must eat one bowl first. Then we all realised that we've got not much friends left in school. It was a damn sad thought, considering how many hi and bye we need to say along the corridor. =p

Went to send some stores to a shop at Katong then went to do up the stamp. After that went to trade in the infamous game i bought awhile back before making my way down to smu for meeting with Edmond and LK.

For those who are interested, We are bringing in some Lumiere cosmetics and brushes. Update again when they are in.

So. School's starting next week. My last and final year.

Still got to appeal for my last module. Hopefully they give me two so i can drop one of my less preferred ones.

I guess listening and looking at my friends entering the workforce does make me wish that i've graduated. That i am out there looking for a job, earning my own money. But yet, i don't have the courage to fully embrace the thought of slogging my life away.

CORS bidding was pretty much screwed. I am left with nothing to bid for my level 4000 modules. And I am still in a holiday mood.

Oh well ... i guess good time flies eh. Going back to Oweek brings about an amazing feeling. This feeling that 3 years ago, i was there as a freshie aogl. Seriously i don't know why they chose me, but i am glad to be part of all that.

Jacob and Sherman kept on bringing up the 'Legend' tag ... i quite like that actually =p Looking at the current batch of house ics, i think that ivan and junyue are really fantastic ones.
